As we continue to settle into our new nursery, it has been a month of wonderful progress, fresh faces, and meaningful connections. Here's a look at what we've been up to over the past month:
This month, we’ve had the joy of settling in many new children. We’ve taken the time to get to know each child individually and build strong, trusting relationships with their families. We’re committed to ensuring every child feels supported and welcomed as they begin their journey with us.
For our children who have been with us for three months or more, we’ve updated their personal plans to ensure we are continuing to follow the wishes of parents and meeting the evolving needs of the children. This process helps us tailor our approach to every child’s unique development and well-being.
We’ve been busy with regular wellbeing supervisions for our staff to ensure they feel supported in their roles. At the same time, we’ve kept up-to-date with relevant training courses to ensure our team’s skills and knowledge continue to grow. Through effective team meetings, we are continually striving to improve and plan for the future, ensuring that we’re always providing the highest standards of care and education.
We’re thrilled to welcome *Sophie*, a volunteer joining us before she starts her Teacher Training at the University of Aberdeen. Sophie will be supporting our team and gaining valuable experience while contributing her enthusiasm and passion for early years education.
We also welcome *Ellie*, our newest team member, who brings fresh energy and experience to the nursery. We are excited to have her as part of our growing family!
We've had the pleasure of showing many prospective families around our nursery, sharing our vision and the warm, nurturing environment we provide. It’s always a joy to see new families.
This month has been full of fun and memorable moments! We celebrated Pancake Day with delicious treats, and World Book Day was a hit with exciting activities and dress-up fun. Our *Stay and Play* sessions for parents have also been a great success, fostering a sense of welcome and offering parents a chance to be involved in their children's learning and development.
We continue to receive regular visits from the Banana Moon franchise team, who provide invaluable support and guidance to ensure that we are operating at the highest standards.
It’s been a busy, fulfilling month, and we look forward to all that’s ahead as we continue to grow, learn, and thrive together. Thank you to our families for their ongoing support, and to our wonderful team for their hard work and dedication!
